Minimum qualifications for our
community support workers:

Community Support Worker
certificate or equivalent experience/education;

Valid CPR and First Aid
certificate;

Criminal Record search;
-
Driver's Abstract;
-
Valid Full BC class 5
drivers license;

Demonstrated ability to work
independently in the community providing high quality services to
individuals with a wide variety of service needs;

Ability to use computers and
computer word processors;
-
Ability to swim and participate
in physical activities;
Food Safe and Crisis Prevention and
Intervention (or similar) training are definite assets for potential
employees. Some positions require the use of a personal vehicle
for work. Mileage costs are paid by the employer. Resumes sent through email are acceptable in
Microsoft Word, Wordperfect or
Lotus Wordpro formats.
